Estate & hoarder cleanouts in Birmingham, AL
Clutter cleared at the family’s pace.
Whole-house cleanouts for families and executors, sorted as we go so keepsakes, papers and photos are set aside.
Estate & Hoarder Cleanouts
Whole-house estate cleanouts and hoarder cleanouts, at the family’s pace.
Clearing a house after a loss or after years of build-up is heavy work, and it is not only physical.
Racoons Junk Removal goes at the family’s pace. No judgment about what is in the rooms.
The goal, in our own words: from overwhelming clutter to a clean, usable space.
Estate cleanouts can cover a whole house: closets, the kitchen, the basement, the back bedroom. We sort as we go.
Keepsakes, papers and photos get set aside for the family before anything goes on the trailer.
Point out what stays, what goes to family and what goes.
Hoarder cleanouts follow the same approach, with more patience.
The crew works through the house in the order that suits the family. Same-day and next-day service is available.
For a big house, ask about a plan that fits the family’s schedule. Call or text (205) 542-1055.
How the day goes
Four steps, start to swept.
Same-day and next-day service is available. Ask when you call or text.
Call or text first
Tell us about the house and what the family hopes for. We walk through it with you first. Ask about timing.
Agree on the pace
We settle what stays, what goes to family and what goes. Mention paint, chemicals or anything regulated up front.
Sort as we go
The crew sets aside keepsakes, papers and photos as the sorting goes. The rest is loaded on the trailer.
Swept and usable
Rooms are cleared down to the floor and swept. The family gets a clean, usable space.
Done right
Respect first, then the work
Nothing goes on the trailer that someone wants kept. That is the whole rule.
If a box of letters or a drawer of photographs turns up, it goes in the keep pile. The family decides.
Hoarder cleanouts get the same care. The crew does not judge a room or hurry anyone through it.
Our job photos include a hoarded bedroom and kitchen being cleared by the crew. Real jobs. Real results.

Common questions.
Call or text when the family is ready.
Will keepsakes and papers be set aside?
Yes. We sort as we go. Keepsakes, papers and photos are set aside for the family before the rest is loaded.
Tell us up front what to look for, and point out anything you want kept.
Can the cleanout happen at the family’s pace?
That is how we work. Tell us what feels right: one room, one floor or the whole house.
Same-day and next-day service is available, but nothing has to be rushed.
Do you handle hoarder cleanouts?
Yes. Hoarder cleanouts are on our list, and so are estate cleanouts. No judgment about what is in the home.
Tell us up front about anything regulated, like paint or chemicals, so the plan covers it.
What should I tell you when I call?
How big the house is, which rooms are full, and what has to stay or go to family. Then we walk through it with you.
Mention stairs and anything regulated. Call or text (205) 542-1055.
