Furniture & Appliance Removal

Couches, fridges, washers, mattresses and pianos carried out, not dragged.

A dead fridge or a sagging sectional does not leave a house by itself.

It has to come down a hallway, around a corner and out the door. The crew does that carrying.

You do not drag, tip or shove anything. You tell us where it sits and which way out is clearest.

Racoons Junk Removal takes furniture: couches, recliners, dressers, tables, bed frames and mattresses.

Appliances too: refrigerators, washers, dryers and stoves. Pianos are on the list as well.

Tell us about the piece and the path out, and the crew plans the carry before arriving.

New delivery coming? Ask about timing the pickup around it, so the old one is gone the very day the new one arrives.

Same-day and next-day service is available.

It depends on the schedule, so call or text (205) 542-1055 early and give the delivery date.

How the day goes

Four steps, start to swept.

Same-day and next-day service is available. Ask when you call or text.

  1. Call or text

Say what the piece is and where it sits. Tell us about stairs and narrow doors on the way out.

  2. We plan the carry

We pick a time. Ask about lining it up with the day the new one is delivered.

  3. Lifted out, loaded

The crew lifts it out and loads the trailer. Nothing is dragged through the house.

  4. Gone, and the floor is swept

The old piece leaves on the trailer and the spot is swept, ready for the new one.

Done right

Stairs, tight doors and long carries

The hard part is rarely the weight.

It is the turn at the top of the stairs or the doorway that looks an inch too narrow.

Tell us about the route when you call. How many steps, where the landing is, whether the piece leaves by a side door.

Say if a washer, dryer or fridge is still hooked up, so the plan covers it. Point out anything that is staying.

The crew carries the piece out to the trailer and does not drag it across a floor, a stair or a doorframe.

Who calls us

Who this is for.

  • Anyone with a new delivery

A new fridge, bed or sofa is on the way and the old one is in the way. Ask about the timing.

  • People downsizing

Fewer rooms means fewer pieces. The crew takes the dining set and the extra bedroom furniture.

  • Landlords and managers

A unit with a dead stove or a left-behind couch. Send the address.

Common questions.

Call or text (205) 542-1055.

Do I need to drag the fridge to the door first?

No. Leave it where it sits. The crew carries it out, so there is no dragging through the house.

Tell us when you call about stairs, narrow doorways or a long carry to the trailer.

Can the old one leave the day the new one arrives?

Ask about it. Same-day and next-day service is available.

The pickup can be timed around a delivery date when the schedule allows. Call or text (205) 542-1055 with the date.

Do you take mattresses and pianos?

Yes. Mattress removal and piano removal are both on our list. For a piano, tell us the floor it is on.

Add the steps and doors between it and the way out, so the crew plans the carry.

What should I tell you about an appliance?

Which one it is, and whether it is still hooked up. Mention any stairs and tight turns on the way out.

We look at the piece and the path out during the free estimate.
